Miriam Melzer
Resume
Born 1930. I was exposed to the art of painting during my early years in the Haifa "Wizo" Art School and since then never stopped painting and practicing other crafts.
I studied the art of painting with Edit Cohen, Mina Siselman, Kaftori, Rosenthalis and others, and also studied at Avni's Art Institute, Tel Aviv-Yafo I joined Ashkelon's Artists Union in 1977.
In 1990 I joined the "Free Art Work Shop" coached by the late artist Itzik Adi.
I acquired the craft of Stained Glass in the "Strasbourg Studios", Ra'anana.
I studied the art of "Fusing" at the "Gilraphael Glass Art Centre", Tel Aviv.
Since then I participated in many group exhibits of the Ashkelon Artists
in Ashkelon and the Z.O.A. House in Tel aviv.
I also took part in group exhibits of the "Free Art Work Shop".
